Scotia Molding for floor is a concave design decorative moulding to cover the gap without removing the baseboard. Scotia is fixed to the skirting board and over the top of the flooring around the perimeter of the wall.

Tips for Floor Scotia Moulding Installation
- Nailing
We recommend using nails to fix scotia to the skirting board (not the floor ). An adhesive like liquid nails also can be an alternative.
- Fixed on the skirting board
Scotia is attaching to the skirting only. Fixing on the floor allows the floor to expand and contract.
- Gap Filling
After the scotia beading fixed, there may be some gaps caused by imperfections in the wall plastering. We can use decorator’s filler to get a more good looking.Then wipe down the extras with a damp cloth.
